Concerts, dinners, and fireworks in the village of Ficulle
Ferragosto Ficullese is the main summer festival of Ficulle, a small village in the Orvieto area of the Province of Terni. For several days around August 15th, the historic center fills with music, flavors, and community moments, in a tradition that draws many holidaymakers and many Ficulle emigrants back to the village for their summer holidays.
Organized by the Pro Loco of Ficulle, the event alternates concerts in the squares, piano bar evenings at the Rocca, convivial dinners, games and entertainment for children, theater performances, and open-air film screenings. The most anticipated moment is the fireworks display, which lights up the village sky on the festival's highlight night.
From one edition to the next, Ferragosto Ficullese confirms its role as an identity event for the community: in past editions, the festival has taken place over several days, between the middle and second week of August. For those visiting Umbria in the summer, it is an opportunity to discover the authentic village life of Ficulle, far from the major tourist circuits.
