The Fegatello Festival is the gastronomic feast that enlivens Limosano every August 14th, a town in the province of Campobasso in the Biferno valley. The star is the pork fegatello, a typical product of the Molisan peasant tradition, prepared and enjoyed according to local recipes.
On the eve of Ferragosto
The festival takes place on the eve of Ferragosto and kicks off the most intense period of the Limosano summer, which continues with the patronal feast of San Ludovico (August 19th) and the feast of San Donato. It is an event that combines gastronomy, conviviality, and tradition, attracting residents, visitors, and former Limosano residents back to the village.
