FE-EL, when Ferrara meets electric mobility

FE-EL is the acronym for «Ferrara meets ELectric mobility», an electric car meet-up and exhibition created to introduce citizens to the transition towards more sustainable mobility. The initiative is promoted by the E-Drivers Ferrara association, which brings together local drivers who have already switched to battery power and who share their direct experience during the event.

After the first edition in 2025, hosted in Largo Castello in Ferrara, the 2026 event moved to the Municipality of Tresignana, in Piazza della Repubblica in Tresigallo, in collaboration with the Municipal Administration and the ProTresigallo association. The choice of the evocative rationalist square of Tresigallo confirms the touring nature of the exhibition, which aims to visit various towns in the province of Ferrara, in Emilia-Romagna.

An exhibition that becomes a dialogue

The heart of FE-EL is not just the exhibition of cars, but the direct dialogue between the public and those who drive an electric car every day. The organizers' stated goal is to combat misinformation on the subject, sharing the real experience of those who live zero-emission mobility: from managing home and public charging to travel range, and running costs.

• Exhibition of numerous everyday electric models (cars from brands like Tesla, BYD, Volkswagen, Nissan, Hyundai, Audi, and BMW);
• Opportunity to talk with owners and hear about the real pros and cons;
• Information panels on public and private charging systems in the Ferrara area;
• Stand for the «Centro per le Comunità Solari» (Center for Solar Communities) project dedicated to energy transition;
• Presence of the electric car-sharing service Corrente.

An event for the territory

The event, free and open to all, is part of the broader debate on ecological transition and European goals for reducing CO2 emissions in the automotive sector. More than a technological showcase, FE-EL aims to be a moment of calm and informed discussion, in a family-friendly atmosphere that involves families, the curious, and car enthusiasts.

Supported since its first edition by the Ferrara Municipal Administration and the mobility department, FE-EL aims to become a regular fixture on the provincial calendar, combining education, sustainability, and the identity of the Emilia-Romagna region.
