Fassona Day

The first edition of Fassona Day, organized by the Pro Loco of Vigliano d'Asti with the Municipality, celebrated the Piedmontese Fassona with a format that combined science, gastronomy, and entertainment. Highlights included the exhibition of the best Piedmontese cattle in the Pro Loco meadows, the gathering of the Cavalieri della Valtiglione, and the supply chain conference at the Palafassona with the extraordinary participation of Prof. Giorgio Calabrese. The Fassona lunch and the sensory "Meat concert" by the Saxmania Orchestra of Carmagnola concluded a day of great participation in the Asti region.

Sunday, May 4, 2025 — Vigliano d'Asti

• All day — Exhibition in the Pro Loco meadows with grazing herds and the best Piedmontese cattle.
• 9:00 AM — Gathering of the "Cavalieri della Valtiglione" with horseback rides on the trails.
• 10:00 AM — Supply chain conference at the Palafassona with industry experts and the extraordinary participation of Prof. Giorgio Calabrese.
• 1:00 PM — Fassona Lunch: raw beef, vitello tonnato, baked lasagna, roast, and strawberry dessert.
• 3:00 PM — Minorcan high-school equestrian show with Luca Zavattero.
• 4:00 PM — "Meat concert", a sensory concert by the Saxmania Orchestra of Carmagnola.
