Edition 2025 — Fagiolata

In 2025, the Baldissero Canavese Fagiolata once again renewed the Canavese tradition, gathering the community in Piazza della Chiesa during the Carnival period. Organized by the Pro Loco, the festival featured the usual distribution of beans and pork rinds cooked in cauldrons over an open fire, preceded by Holy Mass and the blessing, in a climate of great conviviality between residents and visitors.

The 2025 edition of the Fagiolata in Baldissero Canavese confirmed the solid tradition of this winter festival in the Canavese. During the Carnival period, Piazza della Chiesa hosted the large cauldrons over the fire for cooking the beans, which were then distributed to everyone present along with pork rinds, according to the local popular recipe.

The event, organized as every year by the Pro Loco Tourist Association of Baldissero Canavese, served as a gathering point for the entire community, faithful to the peasant origins of the faseuj gras typical of the Piedmontese Carnival.
