About Etnapolis Truck Festival

The Etnapolis Truck Festival is the largest gathering of trucks and heavy vehicles in Southern Italy, held annually at the freight terminal of the Etnapolis shopping center in Belpasso, near Catania. For an entire weekend in June, these road giants—adorned with spectacular airbrush art, powerful sound systems, and light displays—parade and are showcased to the public. Organized by the Truck dei Tre Mari Association, the event blends a passion for motors with music, entertainment, and a strong commitment to charity, supporting pediatric wards in Catania's hospitals.

The largest truck gathering in Southern Italy

The Etnapolis Truck Festival has become a benchmark event for heavy vehicle enthusiasts across Sicily and beyond. Hosted in the expansive freight terminal of the Etnapolis shopping center, just outside Belpasso (Catania province), the rally attracts hundreds of trucks and semi-trailers from all over Italy every year. It is now considered the premier event of its kind in Southern Italy.

Road giants on display

The heart of the festival lies in the customized trucks: tractors and trailers transformed into true works of art on wheels, featuring spectacular airbrushing, powerful sound systems, and light shows that bring the evenings to life. Truckers proudly display their vehicles, creating a static rally that serves as an exhibition, a style competition, and a great social gathering for road colleagues. The 2025 edition saw over 200 registrations, with participants arriving from Lazio, Molise, Campania, Puglia, and Calabria.

A weekend of music and entertainment

The program spans three days, featuring music, entertainment, and evening shows. Sunday is traditionally dedicated to families, with activities and entertainment designed for children, transforming the rally into a festival open to everyone, not just industry professionals.

Solidarity and local ties

Organized by the Truck dei Tre Mari Association, led by Ferdinando Fazio, the festival has a strong charitable soul: a portion of registration fees and voluntary contributions is donated to purchase equipment for the pediatric wards of Catania hospitals. Over the years, the association has donated monitors for the Pediatric Orthopedics and Oncology departments, as well as a defibrillator for the Etnapolis center itself.

A growing event in Belpasso

After its first few editions held at other commercial hubs in Catania like Porte di Catania and Centro Sicilia, the Truck Festival found its permanent home at Etnapolis in the municipality of Belpasso. The event is now part of the rich calendar of activities animating the foothills of Mount Etna, helping to promote the region and the sense of community that bonds Sicilian truckers.

Etnapolis Truck Festival — edition 2026

The eighth edition of the Etnapolis Truck Festival took place from June 5 to 7, 2026, at the freight terminal of the Etnapolis shopping center in Belpasso (CT). Three days dedicated to road giants, featuring customized trucks, airbrush art, music, and shows, with Sunday reserved for families. The traditional charitable mission supporting Catania's pediatric wards was also confirmed for 2026.

The eighth edition of the Etnapolis Truck Festival was held from June 5 to 7, 2026, marking the third consecutive event at the freight terminal of the Etnapolis shopping center in Belpasso. The public opening took place on Friday evening around 7:00 PM, followed by Saturday's activities and Sunday's family-focused program.

Once again, the stars of the show were the trucks and semi-trailers customized with spectacular airbrushing, sound systems, and light displays. The event, organized by the Truck dei Tre Mari Association led by Ferdinando Fazio, reaffirmed its charitable commitment to supporting the pediatric wards of Catania's hospitals.
