Edition 2025 — Eruzioni del Gusto

The seventh edition of Eruzioni del Gusto took place from October 24 to 27, 2025, at the Reggia di Portici, the first time in the Bourbon residence after editions at the Pietrarsa Museum. Titled «Traveling to Taste», the event brought together culture, scientific research, and Mediterranean flavors, offering over four hundred wines for tasting from about one hundred and fifty Campanian wineries.

Eruzioni del Gusto 2025, the seventh edition

From October 24 to 27, 2025, the Reggia di Portici hosted Eruzioni del Gusto for the first time, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony set for Saturday, October 25, in the presence of institutions and journalists. The theme of the edition, «Traveling to Taste», linked the story of volcanic territories to wine tourism.

The program featured over four hundred labels for tasting from about one hundred and fifty Campanian wineries, showcooking performed by established chefs alongside hospitality school students, tastings by the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani, and seafood recipes based on mussels, bluefish, sea bass, and sea bream. Conferences included meetings on food safety, aquaculture, and PDO and PGI certifications for the seafood and agri-food sectors, as well as discussions on wine tourism in Campania as a tool for promotion and marketing.

The volcanic wine consortia of Vesuvius, Campi Flegrei, and Ischia were present, along with Irpinia, Sannio, Cilento, and the Amalfi Coast, with international guests including the Lofoten Islands for stockfish and dried cod, and producers from Mount Etna. Admission was free with registration.

Programme

Saturday, October 25: opening at 10:00 AM and ribbon-cutting at 12:00 PM; at 3:00 PM, meeting on food safety in the Chinese Room; at 4:00 PM, talk «Aquaculture: multifunctionality and social acceptability»; at 5:00 PM, conference «Wine tourism in Campania, a tool for promotion and marketing». In the following days, masterclasses, showcooking, guided tastings, and B2B meetings of the BIE — International Wine Tourism Exchange.

Over 400 wines for tasting from about 150 Campanian wineries. First edition at the Reggia di Portici. Showcooking with hospitality school students. International guests from the Lofoten Islands. Scientific conferences with the Department of Agricultural Sciences Federico II.
