The Eco Sound Fest is one of the most distinctive musical events of the summer in Caprarola, in the province of Viterbo, Lazio. Established in 2013, the festival has built a recognizable formula over time that combines live concerts, DJ sets, and a concrete commitment to the environment. It is not just a simple lineup of shows, but a project that weaves together music, landscape, and sustainability, bringing artists from the new Italian scene to the stage every year in one of the most evocative settings in Tuscia.

The 2026 edition, the eleventh, takes place on July 24th and 25th and reaffirms the festival's vocation: two evenings immersed in greenery, with an audience arriving from all over central Italy to experience not only the music but also the slow rhythms of an outdoor weekend.

The Parco delle Scuderie of Palazzo Farnese

The heart of the Eco Sound Fest is the Parco delle Scuderie of Palazzo Farnese, on Via Antonio da Sangallo, a green space overlooking the Lake Vico Nature Reserve. The setting is not just a detail: the choice of a natural and historical location, at the foot of the famous 16th-century palace that dominates the village of Caprarola, is an integral part of the experience. The audience listens to music under the stars, among the trees, in a context that enhances both the heritage and the landscape of the Viterbo area.

Music, sustainability, and sharing

The festival's philosophy revolves around three keywords: music, nature, and sustainability. The organization maintains a plastic-free approach with waste sorting, a food area focused on local products, and exhibition spaces. Those who want to experience the festival without compromise can take advantage of the camping area, designed for tents and vans, to spend the entire weekend in close contact with the nature of Tuscia.

Alongside the concerts, there are DJ sets, a second stage, and meeting moments that make the Eco Sound Fest a collective experience rather than a single event. The pricing policy, intentionally accessible, reflects the independent and participatory spirit of the event, supported by dozens of volunteers.

An event in the Caprarola summer calendar

The Eco Sound Fest is one of the highlights of the 2026 summer in Caprarola, which offers a packed calendar of shows, concerts, and festivals from July 23rd to September 1st. The event joins other initiatives such as the Francigena Festival, the Festival of Voices and Sounds, and the Hazelnut Festival, in a program that showcases the cultural vibrancy of the village. The event is organized by the Eco Sound Fest APS Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Caprarola and the Pro Loco, confirming the strong bond between the festival and its community.
