About Don Bosco Cup

Sport as an educational tool, promoting fair play and integration: this is the Don Bosco Cup, the inter-school tournament promoted by the Salesians of Sesto San Giovanni. Men's football and women's volleyball involve middle school students from eight municipalities in the Milanese and Brianza area, in an event that translates the values of Don Bosco's spirit onto the field.

Sport that Educates

The Don Bosco Cup is an inter-school tournament founded in Sesto San Giovanni, in the province of Milan, on the initiative of the Salesian middle school. The event involves middle school students from eight municipalities in the Milanese hinterland and Brianza — Sesto San Giovanni, Cinisello Balsamo, Cologno Monzese, Cusano Milanino, Paderno Dugnano, Monza, San Donato Milanese, and Milan.

Football and Volleyball for the Youngest

The tournament features two disciplines: men's football and women's volleyball, for boys and girls born in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Teams from different schools compete in a series of matches that, between February and April, culminate in the final, offering a sporting journey that is also a growth experience.

The Spirit of Don Bosco

The goal of the Don Bosco Cup goes beyond the sporting result: the tournament promotes sport as an educational tool, valuing fair play, integration, and social interaction among young people, in full harmony with the spirit and values of Don Bosco. For the students, it is an opportunity to practice respect for rules, collaboration, and team spirit, in an event that makes the Salesian community of Sesto San Giovanni an educational reference point for the area.
