The historic festival of Domegliara
The Domegliara Festival is the popular festival of Domegliara, a hamlet of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella in the province of Verona, at the gates of Valpolicella. In 2026, it reaches its 42nd edition, a sign of a now-established tradition that transforms the sports facilities next to the parish church into a large celebration space every spring.
Six days of music and shows
The program spans six days between late May and early June, covering various genres and decades: from beat music to 80s and 90s pop-dance hits, from disco music on vinyl to ballroom dancing with the great Venetian orchestras. There are also dance performances from local centers, live shows, and evenings dedicated to cover bands.
Exhibitions, art, and gastronomy
Alongside the music, the festival features photographic exhibitions and a showcase by the Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella painters' group, activities for children with games and a mobile play bus, and a rich food stand with traditional Venetian dishes and Valpolicella wines. Admission is free: it is one of the most cherished popular festivals in the area, where the community comes together for dancing, good food, and culture.
Domegliara Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the 42nd, takes place from May 28 to June 2 in the sports facilities next to the parish church of Domegliara. Six evenings of music and shows, exhibitions, and Veronese gastronomy, with free admission and the usual food and wine stand. The festival is promoted by the charitable committee led by Adriano Lonardi.

- 9:00 PM — Opening with live beat music by Bacco e Tabacco
Friday, May 29
- 8:30 PM — Performance by students from the Gea Dance and Fitness Center
- Following — Area 80 with 80s and 90s pop-dance hits
Saturday, May 30
- 5:00 PM — Inauguration of the photographic exhibition of the "Sacro Cuore" kindergarten (80 years) and old-fashioned games with the Ludobus
- 7:00 PM — Opening of the art exhibition by the Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella painters' group
- 9:00 PM — Music Time Story: history of dance music on vinyl
Sunday, May 31
- 9:30 PM — Live covers with Diamonds & Beatrice Pezzini
Monday, June 1
- 8:00 PM — Dance school performances
- 9:00 PM — Afro Music dj set

How to get there
Domegliara is located in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, along the SS12 and a few kilometers from the Verona Nord motorway exit (A22). Domegliara-Sant'Ambrogio station is on the Verona–Trento line. The nearest airport is Verona Villafranca.
