The international half marathon of the Brenta Riviera
The Dogi's Half Marathon is one of the longest-running half marathons in the Veneto region. Organized by A.S.D. Atletica Riviera del Brenta, it is run over the official distance of 21.097 km with start and finish in Fiesso d'Artico, in the heart of the Brenta Riviera, in the province of Venice.
The single-loop course, homologated by FIDAL Category A, winds along the SR11 towards Venice, crossing the municipalities of Dolo and Mira, crossing the Brenta river to reach Stra, and finally returning to Fiesso d'Artico. It is run entirely on asphalted roads closed to traffic, alongside Venetian villas and the Brenta canal.
The event enjoys the patronage of the Veneto Region and the Municipalities of Stra, Fiesso d'Artico, Dolo, Vigonovo, and Mira. Alongside the competitive race, there are initiatives open to amateurs and an expo dedicated to runners.
