About DIVERSI

DIVERSI – When the Limit Becomes a Panorama is a cultural festival held at the Auditorium Zona Santi in Trepuzzi, Lecce. Curated by the BLABLABLA space and supported by the Municipality of Trepuzzi, the event blends theater, music, talks, and children's activities to explore diversity and turn limitations into new horizons, with free admission and a focus on accessibility.

DIVERSI – When the Limit Becomes a Panorama in Trepuzzi

DIVERSI – When the Limit Becomes a Panorama is a cultural festival that brings Trepuzzi to life, a town in the northern Salento area of the province of Lecce, in Puglia. The event takes place at the Auditorium Zona Santi and is curated by the cultural space BLABLABLA with the patronage of the Municipality of Trepuzzi, in collaboration with the Factory Compagnia Transadriatica. More than just a simple program of shows, it is a true poetic and civic statement: the festival investigates the concept of normality and its boundaries, inviting us to view difference as a resource rather than an obstacle.

A journey through theater, music, and words

The title captures the essence of the entire event: when a limit ceases to be a barrier and becomes a panorama—that is, an opening, a point of view, a possibility. Through various languages—theater, music, talks, and activities for children—DIVERSI gives voice to experiences that challenge stereotypes, focusing on themes of identity, the body, gender, and the inclusion of people with disabilities. The artistic direction is entrusted to Tonio De Nitto, a leading figure in Salento theater.

Voices and protagonists

The program alternates between intense monologues, musical moments, and reflective meetings. Notable protagonists include actor and activist Francesco Cicconetti, musician H.E.R. with her fusion of violin and electronics, the ZeroMeccanico Teatro company, and activist Nadia Lauricella. Theater engages with literature, as seen in the reinterpretation of Oscar Wilde's fairy tales, while the spaces are designed to be fully accessible.

A festival for the community

DIVERSI was born with a strong inclusive and participatory vocation: admission is free with mandatory reservation, and the venue features barrier-free spaces along with a dedicated transport service for people with disabilities. Catering to audiences of all ages, from children to adults, the event confirms the cultural vibrancy of Trepuzzi and northern Salento, bringing a contemporary reflection to the province of Lecce on what makes us different and, at the same time, profoundly human.
