Edition 2025 — Black Pig Festival
The 2025 edition of the Dauno Black Pig Festival was held in Deliceto on August 11, as part of the rich summer program "Deliceto Summer 2025" promoted by the municipal administration together with local associations. The evening was dedicated to the black pig, a native breed raised in semi-wild conditions in the Daunian Subappennino.
The Pro Loco "Amedeo Iossa" stalls offered tastings of sausages, prosciutto, capocollo, and other cured meats, along with typical Apulian dishes prepared with local ingredients. The gastronomic experience was accompanied by folk music concerts, folkloric shows with traditional dances, a craft market, and, at the end of the evening, fireworks. There was no shortage of attractions for children, in a festival that confirmed the strong bond between the Deliceto community and the flavors and traditions of the Daunian Mountains.
