The international street art festival that transformed a Molise village
In the heart of Molise, Civitacampomarano (CB) is a medieval village dominated by the Angevin castle, marked for decades by depopulation. Since 2016, CVtà Street Fest, conceived and directed by Roman artist Alice Pasquini, has reversed the trend: transforming house walls into canvases for international street art, it has restored life, identity, and cultural tourism to the town.
In ten editions, the festival has hosted over fifty international artists who have created more than ninety murals, attracting around 25,000 visitors annually. Civitacampomarano is now one of Italy's urban art capitals, featured in publications like Artribune and Sky Arte, and a destination for enthusiasts from all over Europe.
The tenth edition, scheduled for June 27th and 28th, 2026, opens a new chapter with the inauguration of the Galleria No Panic, at via Discesa degli Orti 25/a: a permanent exhibition space that will host a large group show featuring works by over twenty renowned artists, including David De La Mano, Alex Senna, and Alice Pasquini herself. This is a symbolic step: from a temporary event to the construction of a permanent cultural legacy for the village.
In addition to the artworks and live performances, the festival offers presentations, talks with artists, curators, and journalists, and a significant musical evening with a DJ set by Daddy G, one of the founders of Massive Attack. A mix that has made CVtà Street Fest a nationally and internationally recognized event.
The 2026 edition celebrates the festival's ten years with a renewed program. The heart of the event is the inauguration of the Galleria No Panic at via Discesa degli Orti 25/a, the village's first permanent exhibition space, featuring a group show by over twenty international artists. A highly anticipated musical evening with Daddy G from Massive Attack is also confirmed.
Artists announced for the tenth edition: Alice Pasquini, Elfo, Uno, Lucy McLauchlan, Victor Garcia Repo, David de la Mano, Pablo Herrero, Alex Senna, Dan Witz, Helen Bur, Martin Whatson, Anders Gjennestad (Strøk), Biancoshock, Mp5, and others.
