Guardialfiera, a village in the province of Campobasso (Molise) overlooking the lake of the same name and home of the writer Francesco Jovine, hosts Girogustando nel Borgo every summer. This gastronomic event enlivens the ancient Piedicastello district, the heart of the historic center.

During the event, local restaurants, farmhouses, and wineries set up their stalls along the village streets and alleys. How to Get There
Guardialfiera (CB) can be reached by car via the SS647 Fondo Valle del Biferno; the village overlooks the lake. The nearest train stations are Termoli or Campobasso. The event takes place in the historic center (Piedicastello district), which is mostly pedestrianized.

The event is held in the summer (in past editions, at the end of July). The 2026 dates will be announced by the Pro Loco.
Admission
Access to the village is free; tastings at the stalls require a small contribution.
