Thursday evenings become country

In Corsico, in the Metropolitan City of Milan, summer has its weekly ritual: Country Summer, the series of evenings dedicated to country music and dancing that enlivens the Parco Ex Area Pozzi every Thursday, on Via Alzaia Trento, along the Naviglio Grande. Starting from early June and throughout the warm season, the park transforms into a large outdoor space with a western atmosphere, complete with wide-brimmed hats, boots, and a great desire to dance.

The evening

The heart of the party is the DJ set with entertainment by Mr. Dollaro, a leading DJ and entertainer for the Milanese country scene, who leads group dances and keeps the dance floor alive until late at night. Next to the main dance floor is the Free Stage with Lella, who kicks off the dancing from 8:30 PM, while the food & drink area allows you to dine and have a drink without interrupting the evening. The format brings together experienced line dancers and beginners in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.

Organized by CountryEvents Milano, the series is one of the most popular events for the country community in the western area of Milan. Parco Ex Area Pozzi, with its green spaces, offers the ideal setting for an outdoor evening, and its weekly Thursday schedule makes it a summer-long reference point.
