Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is the most important international event dedicated to the cosmetics and beauty industry. Every year, it transforms the municipality of Bologna, in Emilia-Romagna, into the pulsating heart of the global beauty sector: the BolognaFiere exhibition centre, in Piazza della Costituzione, welcomes operators, buyers, manufacturers, and brands from every continent. Organized by BolognaFiere Cosmoprof with the support of Cosmetica Italia, the fair was founded in 1967 and is today a global ecosystem representing the entire beauty supply chain.

The Numbers of the 57th Edition (2026)

The 2026 edition, scheduled from March 26 to 29, was sold out well in advance: over 3,000 exhibitors from 64 countries, representing more than 10,000 brands, and over 250,000 professional visitors expected. 37% of the exhibitors were new entries, and national pavilions exceeded 32, with debuts from Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Portugal, and Hungary. The international profile remains dominant, with 44% of companies coming from outside Europe.

Three Sectors, One Entire Supply Chain

The event is divided into three main thematic areas, each hosted in dedicated pavilions:

• Cosmopack (March 26-28, pavilions 15, 15A, 18, 19, 20): the beauty supply chain, featuring raw materials, fragrances, primary and secondary packaging, formulation, contract manufacturing, and machinery.
• Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics (March 26-28, pavilions 14, 16, 21, 22, 26, 36): perfumery, make-up, skincare, and personal care, from mass-market brands to prestige and masstige brands, from independent start-ups to vegan, natural, and organic/bio companies.
• Cosmo Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon (March 26-29, pavilions 25, 29, 30, 31, 32, 37 and others): the professional world of hairdressing, aesthetics, and nail care, with products, equipment, and live shows.

Events, Awards, and Content

In addition to the exhibition, Cosmoprof offers a rich schedule of events: the CosmoTalks conference series dedicated to topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and distribution channels; the Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Awards celebrating product innovation; dedicated areas for artistic perfumery (Esxence) and green & organic; educational sessions and hairdressing shows. Tools like Cosmoprof My Match and the Buyer Lounge facilitate business meetings between exhibitors and international buyers.

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is a B2B trade fair reserved for industry professionals: admission is for buyers, distributors, manufacturers, hairdressing and aesthetics professionals, and specialized press.
