Milan's Open-Air Cinema
AriAnteo is the historic summer review of open-air cinema in Milan, organized by Anteo — one of the benchmarks for arthouse cinema in Italy — in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan. Every summer, the event transforms symbolic locations in the Lombard capital into cinema arenas under the stars.
The Arenas in the City
The review is held in several venues, each with its own atmosphere:
- AriAnteo Palazzo Reale — in the courtyard of Palazzo Reale, in Piazza del Duomo, in the monumental heart of the city
- AriAnteo Fabbrica del Vapore — in the post-industrial spaces of Via Procaccini
- AriAnteo Incoronata — in the evocative Cloister of the Incoronata on Via Milazzo, with a double screen and headphone audio
- AriAnteo CityLife — in Piazza Elsa Morante, in the modern CityLife district, with headphone audio
A Quality Program
AriAnteo's schedule combines premieres, the year's Oscar winners, titles from major international festivals, and restorations of classics, with special evenings and guest appearances. It is a proposal that combines entertainment and film culture, true to Anteo's vocation.

Active for decades, AriAnteo has become an unmissable event of the Milanese summer: watching a film outdoors in locations like Palazzo Reale or the Cloister of the Incoronata is a unique way to experience the city during the warm months.
AriAnteo — edition 2026
The thirty-seventh edition of AriAnteo brings open-air cinema to Milan from June 1 to September 27, 2026. The review, organized by Anteo with the Municipality of Milan, is divided into four city arenas, each with its own schedule.
The 2026 program alternates premieres, the year's Oscar winners, titles from major international festivals, restorations of classics, and special events with guests.
