Cordenons Carnival

A tradition growing since 2000

Born in February 2000 as one of the first major events organized by Pro Loco, the Cordenons Carnival has grown to become one of the flagship events of Cordenons, a municipality on the outskirts of Pordenone. Its parade of allegorical floats attracts participants and visitors from all over the region and the neighboring eastern Veneto every year.

Floats, masks, and confetti

The heart of the festival is the grand parade of allegorical floats, the result of months of work by local float builders, who parade accompanied by masked groups, music, and clouds of confetti. The route starts from the parking lot of the Sanitario di via del Makò health district and crosses the town's streets, concluding in the central Piazza della Vittoria, where the celebration continues with animation and entertainment.

A community celebration

Organized by Pro Loco Cordenons with the support of the Municipality of Cordenons, the Carnival involves local associations, schools, and volunteers, confirming itself as a moment of popular celebration and gathering. Participation with floats or masked groups is open by registration, according to the procedures published annually by Pro Loco.
