Floats and masked groups in the centre of Conegliano
The Conegliano Carnival, in the province of Treviso, is one of the events in the Carnevali di Marca festival, which annually coordinates the carnival parades of the main municipalities in the Marca trevigiana. For Fat Tuesday, the historic centre of the city transforms into the stage for a grand parade of floats and masks.
The parade brings large floats and masked groups, the result of months of work by local carnival associations, through the streets of the centre. Confetti, streamers, music, and entertainment accompany the procession, in a celebration designed above all for families and children.
The Conegliano stop is part of the regional calendar of the Carnevali di Marca, which from mid-January to mid-March enlivens dozens of municipalities in the Treviso area — from Vittorio Veneto to Treviso, from Conegliano to Montebelluna — with parades, events, and a grand finale. A way to experience the Venetian Carnival in all its variety, from town to town.
The Conegliano Carnival 2026 enlivened the historic city centre on Tuesday, February 17, on the occasion of Fat Tuesday, with the traditional parade of floats and masked groups.
The event was part of the calendar for the 33rd edition of the Carnevali di Marca, the festival that coordinates the parades of the main municipalities in the Treviso area from mid-January to mid-March. Confetti, music, and entertainment accompanied the procession through the heart of the city, in a celebration primarily dedicated to families and children.
Conegliano is served by the train station (Venice-Udine line) and the A27 motorway (Conegliano exit). The parade takes place in the historic city centre.
Free parade, open to all. Info: Associazione Carnevali di Marca, [email protected].
