Music and rising light in the Conero village, at dawn on Ferragosto
The Concerto all'Alba is one of the most beloved and photographed events of the summer in Sirolo, a pearl of the Conero Riviera in the province of Ancona, in the Marche region. Every year, on Ferragosto (August 15th), the village wakes up early: at five in the morning, the evocative Piazza Vittorio Veneto, overlooking the Adriatic, becomes the natural stage for a concert that accompanies the sunrise.
The idea is simple and powerful: gather in the square when the sky is still dark and let yourself be enveloped by music as the light grows over the sea. The notes blend with the colours of dawn, offering an emotion that is hard to forget. It is no coincidence that this event has become one of the symbols of the Sirolo summer.
The Concert at Dawn is free admission, open to residents, holidaymakers, and curious people of all ages. Some arrive still sleepy, some bring a blanket, some choose to extend the Ferragosto night until that special moment: the audience is always diverse and engaged, thanks to the village setting and the intimate atmosphere of the square.
Sirolo is one of the most charming villages in the Marche, nestled on the promontory of Monte Conero, between white beaches and crystal-clear waters. A Blue Flag recipient for many years, the Municipality of Sirolo offers a packed calendar of cultural and musical events during the summer, organised in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Sirolo (local tourism board). The Concert at Dawn is the flagship of this programme and is part of a season rich in concerts, shows, exhibitions, and traditions that liven up the village from spring to September.
Attending the Concert at Dawn means choosing a different and poetic way to experience Ferragosto: away from the crowds during peak hours, immersed in the quiet of the early morning, with live music as the only soundtrack to the awakening of Conero. An event that every year confirms the deep connection between Sirolo, its sea, and its cultural vocation.
The Concerto all'Alba 2026 returns to Sirolo on Ferragosto, Saturday, August 15th at 5:00 AM, in Piazza Vittorio Veneto. The event features live music accompanying the sunrise over the Adriatic, in one of the most beloved atmospheres of the Sirolo summer.
Among the announced artists for this edition is singer-songwriter Alessandro Pellegrini. The event, with free admission, is organised by the Municipality of Sirolo with the Pro Loco of Sirolo and confirms itself as one of the symbolic events of Ferragosto on the Conero Riviera.

In summer, the village experiences heavy crowds: it is advisable to use the car parks on the outskirts of the centre and walk to the square.
As this is a dawn event, it is advisable to bring a light jacket for the cool early morning air. After the concert, it is pleasant to stop for breakfast at the cafes in the historic centre.
