What is Sferisterio Live+
Sferisterio Live+ is the concert series that, alongside the renowned Macerata Opera Festival, enlivens the summer season of the city of Macerata, the capital of the province of the same name in the Marche region. The event brings major Italian and international music stars to the stage of the Sferisterio Arena, with a lineup spanning pop, auteur music, light music, and rock.
A unique setting in the world
The charm of this series is inseparable from its venue. The Sferisterio, built between 1820 and 1829 in neoclassical style, is an open-air arena with extraordinary acoustics and a characteristic elongated shape, originally designed for the game of 'pallone col bracciale'. Today, it is the cultural symbol of Macerata and one of Italy's most spectacular venues for shows and concerts. Attending a live performance under the Marche summer sky, with the long back wall illuminated behind the stage, is an unforgettable experience.

The 2026 series takes place from August 28th to September 13th at the Sferisterio Arena in Macerata, with a lineup described as record-breaking by the organizers. Ten evenings spanning generations and styles of Italian music, from classic melody to contemporary pop.
The concerts are held in the evocative neoclassical setting of the Sferisterio, one of Italy's most fascinating open-air arenas, in the heart of the provincial capital of Macerata.

August 28th — Il Volo
- Il Volo, as part of their World Tour 2026-2027.
August 30th — Fiorella Mannoia
- Fiorella Mannoia with the special project "Anime Salve", a tribute to Fabrizio De André and Ivano Fossati.
September 1st — Pooh
- The Pooh celebrate 60 years of career, revisiting their greatest hits.
September 3rd — Coez
- Coez for the first time at the Sferisterio with the acoustic and intimate format "From the Rooftop".
September 4th — Serena Brancale
- Serena Brancale with the "Sacro Tour", blending soul, jazz, electronics, and Mediterranean roots.
September 6th — Arisa
- Arisa with her most famous songs, from "Sincerità" to "La notte" and "Controvento".
September 9th and 10th — Claudio Baglioni
- Claudio Baglioni with the "GrandTour La vita è adesso" tour, in a double date due to high public demand (the first evening is sold out).
September 12th — Riccardo Cocciante
- Riccardo Cocciante with the tour celebrating his 80th birthday.
September 13th — Luca Carboni
- Luca Carboni making his absolute debut in the Arena with the "Rio Ari o Live" tour.

How to get there
By car: take the A14 Civitanova Marche motorway exit, then the SS77 dual carriageway towards Macerata. By train: Macerata station, a short distance from the historic center. Numerous parking lots are available in the areas adjacent to the center.
Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at the Sferisterio Ticket Office in Piazza Mazzini and online through major pre-sale circuits (Ticketone and Vivaticket). Prices vary depending on the artist and seating section. Advance purchase is recommended, as some dates sell out quickly.
