Pop culture arrives in Bergamo
COMICON Bergamo is the Lombard version of COMICON, one of the most important Italian festivals dedicated to comics and pop culture, born in Naples. Organized at the Fiera di Bergamo, in just a few years the event has become a reference point for enthusiasts in Northern Italy, capable of attracting tens of thousands of visitors from all over the region and beyond.
Three days of everything
From June 26th to 28th, 2026, the Fiera di Bergamo hosts the 4th edition, with a schedule that intertwines comics, cinema, TV series, video games, board games, music, and live performances. Exhibitions, meetings with authors, previews, tournaments, gaming areas, and a large space dedicated to cosplay make up a program designed for all ages.
The guests of 2026
Among the announced names is Salvador Larroca, a Spanish comic artist and Eisner Award winner, famous for his work on Iron Man, and American Lee Bermejo, known for his interpretations of the Batman universe. From the world of video games come Yasumi Matsuno, author of some iconic chapters of the Final Fantasy saga, and Yuji Horii, creator of Dragon Quest, who celebrates the series' 40th anniversary with the festival. Also expected from Japan is mangaka Yasuhiro Nightow, creator of Trigun.
Not just comics
The pulsating heart of the event is live music, with the return of Mai Dire Goku, the party dedicated to cartoon theme songs that has become a cult event over the years. Between panels, thematic exhibitions, and an exhibition area rich with publishers and artists, COMICON Bergamo confirms its role in the landscape of major pop culture events in Lombardy.

How to get there
The Fiera di Bergamo is located at Via Lunga, in the Trucca area, near the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital and the A4 motorway exit (Bergamo). Ample parking and public transport connections from the city center are available.
