Pop culture arrives in Bergamo
COMICON Bergamo is the Lombard version of COMICON, one of Italy's most important festivals dedicated to comics and pop culture, born in Naples. Organized at the Fiera di Bergamo, in just a few years the event has become a benchmark for fans in Northern Italy, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from across the region and beyond.
Three full days
From June 26th to 28th, 2026, the Fiera di Bergamo hosts the 4th edition, with a schedule that intertwines comics, cinema, TV series, video games, board games, music, and live entertainment. Exhibitions, meetings with authors, previews, tournaments, gaming areas, and a large space dedicated to cosplay make up a program designed for all ages.
The 2026 guests
Among the announced names is Salvador Larroca, a Spanish comic artist and Eisner Award winner, famous for his work on Iron Man, and American Lee Bermejo, known for his interpretations of the Batman universe. From the world of video games come Yasumi Matsuno, creator of iconic chapters of the Final Fantasy saga, and Yuji Horii, creator of Dragon Quest, who is celebrating 40 years of the series with the festival. Manga artist Yasuhiro Nightow, creator of Trigun, is also expected from Japan.
Not just comics
The pulsating heart of the event is live music, with the return of Mai Dire Goku, the party dedicated to cartoon theme songs that has become a cult event over the years. With panels, themed exhibitions, and an exhibition area rich with publishers and artists, COMICON Bergamo confirms its role in the landscape of major pop culture events in Lombardy.

How to get there
The Fiera di Bergamo is located at Via Lunga, in the Trucca area, near the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital and the A4 motorway exit (Bergamo). Ample parking and public transport connections from the city center are available.
