Coda de Soreca Gnocchi Festival

The ninth edition

From June 13 to 15, 2025, Valmontone hosted the ninth edition of the Coda de Soreca Gnocchi Festival in the Città dello Sport area along the Via Casilina, in the Sant'Anna district. The food stalls, open from the evening, offered the signature dish of the Valmontone tradition: long, thin, egg-free handmade gnocchi, topped with mutton, game, or pork ragù and a sprinkle of Pecorino Romano, served in the characteristic wooden scifelle.

Alongside the gastronomy, there was no shortage of live music, rides, market stalls, and exhibitions, following the festival's proven formula: three days dedicated to fun and good food that drew families and visitors from across the territory south of Rome, setting the stage for the tenth anniversary in 2026.
