Six days of Neapolitan pizza, music, and entertainment on the Lungomare Pertini
The Coca-Cola Pizza Village is widely considered the world's largest event dedicated to Neapolitan pizza. In 2026, it finds a new home: for the first time, the entire event takes place in Pozzuoli, in the heart of the Phlegraean Fields, along the Lungomare Sandro Pertini. For six days, from July 7th to 12th, the waterfront transforms into an open-air village with ovens, a stage, tasting areas, and family spaces, all overlooking the gulf and the harbor.
For the Municipality of Pozzuoli, part of the Metropolitan City of Naples in Campania, this represents a significant step up: an event previously held in Naples at the Mostra d'Oltremare now moves to a seaside promenade, with logistics designed in collaboration with the local administration to welcome the public and showcase the Phlegraean territory.
The culinary heart of the event features twenty-two pizzerias representing every facet of contemporary Neapolitan pizza: from classic traditions to signature interpretations, including gluten-free options. Each station operates its own oven and dough, allowing visitors to compare styles, crusts, and toppings within the same village without having to travel across the city.
The most visible innovation for the 2026 edition is the Main Stage set up on the Lungomare Pertini, opening at 6:00 PM with free admission. The artistic direction is led by Gianni Simioli, who has curated a program that blends tradition with modern trends, coinciding with the year of the Neapolitan Song's candidacy as an UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The stage features beloved local artists—including Franco Ricciardi, Andrea Sannino, Rosario Miraggio, Walter Ricci, Tony Tammaro, Monica Sarnelli, Gianluca Capozzi, Ivan Granatino, Francesco Da Vinci, Gabriele Esposito, and the Ebbanesis—while the pre-concert warm-up features the sounds of Pozzuoli Città Jazz with ensembles like the Marco Zurzolo Band, Zona Sud, Kamaak, Furià , Anema Music, and That's Napoli, directed by Maestro Carlo Morelli. A space is reserved for emerging artists through VillaIndie, a contest held in collaboration with Napolindie to revitalize the Neapolitan Power sound.
The Pizza Village is more than just a food festival. The hospitality area hosts daily Pizza Tales sessions, where pizza makers, entrepreneurs, journalists, and industry experts discuss consumer trends, new generations, digital communication, and the cultural and economic role of pizza. Alongside these talks, visitors can enjoy free masterclasses, guided tastings, beer experiences, and workshops designed for children, who can try their hand at dough-making under the guidance of master pizzaiolos.
Join us on the Lungomare Sandro Pertini in Pozzuoli from July 7th to 12th, 2026, daily from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Admission to the village and concerts is free; you only pay for what you consume at the pizzerias. The area in front of the stage is standing-room only with limited capacity: arriving early is recommended for those who want a close-up view of the concerts.
For the first time, the Coca-Cola Pizza Village was held entirely in Pozzuoli, on the Lungomare Sandro Pertini, transforming the seaside promenade into a village of taste for six evenings. Open from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with free entry to both the area and the concerts.
Twenty-two contemporary Neapolitan pizza brands participated, balancing tradition and innovation, with a dedicated gluten-free offering. The event received support from the Ministry of Tourism and numerous industrial partners, with the Municipality of Pozzuoli managing parking, shuttles, and public transport.
The major highlight was the Main Stage directed by Gianni Simioli, built during the year of the Neapolitan Song's UNESCO candidacy. Each evening opened with Pozzuoli Città Jazz, followed by concerts from stars of the Neapolitan scene and the VillaIndie contest for emerging artists. On July 8th, the evening hosted a tribute to Domenico Caliendo and his foundation.
Ammaccamm, Antica Pizzeria da Gennaro, Da Mario, Donna Sofia ai Tribunali, Errico Porzio, Farinati Pizza and More, Fermento, Guappo Amoriello (gluten-free), I Damiano Pizza Concept, Il Mio Viaggio a Napoli, I Mascalzoni Latini, Jessica De Vivo, Lucignolo Bella Pizza, Picea, Pisani Pizzeria, Pizzaingrammi, Pizzeria Quanto Basta, Porzio…ni, Spicchi di Luna, Vesi, Vincenzo Capuano, Zia Esterina Sorbillo.
By train: Cumana line, Gerolomini stop, about a five-minute walk from the village; Metro Line 2, Pozzuoli-Solfatara stop. By bus: ANM and EAV lines connect Pozzuoli with Naples and the Phlegraean municipalities. By car: Naples Tangenziale, Pozzuoli or Agnano exit; during the event, the Municipality provides parking areas and a shuttle service to the waterfront.
The village is open daily from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Admission to the village and Main Stage concerts is free. Food and drinks are paid for at individual pizzerias; purchasing menus online in advance is recommended on busier evenings.
Weekend evenings are the most crowded: those traveling with children or looking for shorter lines will find better conditions early in the week. The waterfront is pedestrianized and the event is outdoors: comfortable shoes and light clothing are recommended. For those visiting from out of town, Pozzuoli and Bacoli offer numerous accommodations, but booking well in advance for July is advised.
