The Classic Contest 3vs3 brings 3x3 basketball to the Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo in Termoli, in the Province of Campobasso. The tournament, dedicated to the memory of Michele Guardascione, transforms the northern seafront into a large outdoor playground where teams of all levels compete in the fast and spectacular three-on-three format.
Many teams, multiple categories
Organised by Ballers Lab ASD, the Classic Contest brings together dozens of teams divided into different categories, from the youngest to amateurs and up to the Open level. The 2025 edition set a record with 46 teams across five categories, with the Open finalists qualifying for the national stages of the LB3 circuit. The event concludes with a final evening that crowns the winners in a festive atmosphere.
Sport and remembrance
More than just a tournament, the Classic Contest is an event that unites the Termoli basketball community in remembrance of Michele Guardascione, combining competition, friendship, and spectacle. It is now one of the key summer sporting events in Termoli and the Molise Region, capable of animating the seafront for days with matches, music, and spectators.

The Classic Contest 3vs3 Memorial Michele Guardascione returns to the Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo in Termoli from August 6 to 8, 2026. The 3x3 basketball tournament, managed by Ballers Lab ASD, brings together numerous teams in various categories on the courts set up along the northern seafront, with the final evening concluding the event. The event is part of the Estate Termolese programme.

Where and when
The Classic Contest 3vs3 takes place on Lungomare Nord Cristoforo Colombo in Termoli, on the outdoor courts set up for the occasion. Admission for the public is free. Team registrations are handled by Ballers Lab ASD in the weeks leading up to the event. Termoli is accessible by train on the Adriatic line and from the A14 Termoli-San Severo exit.
