The Aut Aut Festival is the cultural review that, since 2017, has brought writers, journalists, and leading figures of the national cultural scene to Campomarino, in the province of Campobasso. The setting is the terrace of Palazzo Norante, in the heart of the old town, where literary evenings are held outdoors, under the stars.

A format blending culture and conviviality

Each event has a clearly recognisable structure: first, the meeting with the author, dedicated to presenting a book or discussing a current topic, followed by the concluding DJ set that transforms the literary evening into a festive occasion. Over the years, the terrace has hosted motorcycle travellers sharing stories, writers, journalists, and satirical collectives, covering genres from fiction to investigative journalism, from auteur music to the Moro affair.

An established review

Organised by the Istituzione Centro Servizi Turistici e Culturali of Campomarino together with the Libreria Fahrenheit of Termoli, the Aut Aut Festival has become a regular fixture of the town's summer, confirmed year after year and included in the broader AESTIVA review programme.
