Cipolla in Festa 2025: "between sky and earth"

The 2025 edition of Cipolla in Festa was held in Margherita di Savoia from June 26 to 29 under the theme "between sky and earth," expanding the event to four days. Organized by the Consortium for the Protection and Promotion of the Margherita White Onion PGI in collaboration with the Municipality and local associations, the edition combined flavor, culture, and entertainment.

Key highlights included tastings of Margherita White Onion PGI dishes on the Cristoforo Colombo promenade prepared by local chefs, a roundtable on sustainability and certified products with the participation of the University of Foggia, a torchlit seaside walk, the "onion hunt," artistic workshops for children using prints made from onion scraps, and days filled with flashmobs and live street music. The star of this edition was the introduction of hot air balloons by the Balloon Team Italia, offering free tethered flights over the beach and salt pans, alongside a photography exhibition and screenings of films on the onion production cycle.
