Ciammaruca Festival

The 2nd Ciammaruca Festival enlivened the evening of Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Trevi nel Lazio, in the heart of the Simbruini Mountains Regional Natural Park. Along Viale Cesare Battisti, from 8:00 PM, the Le Lumache dei Monti Simbruini group served ciammaruche—the land snails dear to the Ciociaria tradition—prepared with sauces based on tomato, garlic, chili, and wild herbs, according to recipes passed down from generation to generation.

Alongside the signature dish, the festival offered other specialties of Lazio and mountain cuisine, accompanied by local wine, while live music provided the backdrop for an evening of taste and conviviality in the midst of the village's Ferragosto celebrations. The event, in its second edition after its 2024 debut, confirmed itself as one of the most heartfelt events of the Trevi summer.
