The community festival of the Borgo Roma district in Verona
The Christ Festival is one of the most cherished events in the Borgo Roma district, in the southern outskirts of Verona. It takes place in the parish park of Gesù Divino Lavoratore, a green space that for a few days transforms into the neighborhood's open-air living room: tables, lights, the smell of barbecue, and many people gathering after the winter.
The heart of the festival is the food and wine stalls, with typical Veronese cuisine dishes served at popular prices, accompanied by bars and convivial spaces. Every evening there is live music and entertainment, while the park's open spaces welcome families and groups of friends in a relaxed and genuine atmosphere.
More than a tourist event, the Christ Festival is an occasion for neighborhood aggregation: organized by the parish community, it thrives on the volunteer work of residents and brings the entire Borgo Roma neighborhood together. For those who want to discover the popular and authentic Verona, far from the tourist circuits of the Arena and Piazza delle Erbe, it is an immersion into the neighborhood life of the Scaliger capital.
From May 30 to June 2, 2026, the Borgo Roma district will celebrate its Christ Festival in the parish park of Gesù Divino Lavoratore. Four days of celebration with food and wine stalls, bars, live music, and moments of aggregation for residents and for those who want to discover the Verona of the neighborhoods.
The detailed program of music and evenings will be published by the parish in the days preceding the festival. The usual structure includes, for all evenings, the opening of food and wine stalls in the park and live musical entertainment. Full program coming soon.
Food and wine stalls with traditional Veronese dishes, live music every evening, and open spaces for families in the parish park.
Borgo Roma is located in the southern area of Verona, well-connected to the center by ATV urban buses. By car, it is easily accessible from the southern ring road and the Verona Sud exit.
Access to the festival area is free; consumption at the food stalls is paid.
