The Chestnut Festival in Morimondo (Province of Milan) is the traditional autumn festival organised by the local Pro Loco association. For one day, the streets of the village, dominated by the splendid Cistercian Abbey and listed among Italy's most beautiful villages, fill with the aroma of roasted chestnuts and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of late October village festivals.
