The Feston da Casurà is the grand autumn festival of Casorate Primo, a municipality in the Province of Pavia located on the border with the metropolitan city of Milan, along the roads connecting the Pavese and Milanese areas. The name itself, in local dialect, says it all: it is the festone of Casorate, the festival par excellence of the town, eagerly awaited every year in October.

Stalls and market in the town streets

For several days, typically at the end of October, the streets of Casorate Primo's centre are transformed: the travelling market and stalls invade the streets with products, sweets, clothing, and crafts, while food stands and entertainment liven up the festival. It's an opportunity to stroll among the exhibitors, meet up with friends and neighbours, and experience the typical atmosphere of Lombardy's village festivals.
