The absolute star is the chestnut, harvested in the chestnut groves surrounding the village and offered in a thousand ways: from the classic roasted chestnuts cooked over the fire to traditional desserts, including fried chestnut ravioli. Alongside it, chestnut honey, with its intense and slightly bitter flavor, a true treasure of local beekeeping. Along the autumn market, you can find saffron, artisanal cured meats and cheeses, Sibillini truffles, cooked wine, and many other specialties of the Marche peasant tradition.

How to get there
By car: A14 highway exit Ascoli Piceno - San Benedetto del Tronto, then take the Ascoli-Mare expressway and local roads towards Montegallo and its hamlets. The area is mountainous: comfortable clothing and suitable shoes are recommended.
