Châtillon, the Aosta Valley capital of honey and mountain beekeeping
In Châtillon (Province of Aosta), on the last weekend of October, the Honey and Derivatives Festival returns annually, one of the most important food and wine events in the Aosta Valley. The festival celebrates the work of over 600 beekeepers in the Aosta Valley, who manage thousands of beehives scattered throughout the valleys and produce honeys with unique aromatic and organoleptic qualities, recognized far beyond regional borders.
