Chalices of Stars is the summer wine event that the Municipality of Gorgo al Monticano, in the eastern Marca Trevigiana in the province of Treviso, organizes in the setting of Villa Foscarini Cornaro. The event is part of the national circuit promoted by the association Città del Vino (and by the Movimento Turismo del Vino), which every year, around the night of San Lorenzo (August 10th), combines wine, typical products, and shooting star observation throughout Italy.

The protagonists of the evening are the best local wines, including the prestigious DOCs of the Piave, accompanied by typical products of the territory. Tastings take place from sunset until midnight, in a convivial atmosphere that celebrates the food and wine culture of the Marca Trevigiana.
The setting of Villa Foscarini Cornaro
The event is held in the park of Villa Foscarini Cornaro, a charming 16th-century historic residence immersed in the greenery of Via Palazzi, a jewel of Venetian Renaissance architecture. The villa offers an exceptional setting to experience Chalices of Stars, amidst music, raised glasses, and the August sky.
Chalices of Stars — edition 2026
Chalices of Stars is a recurring wine event that the Municipality of Gorgo al Monticano (Treviso) organizes in August at Villa Foscarini Cornaro, as part of the national circuit of the Cities of Wine. The 2026 edition is expected around the night of San Lorenzo (August 10th), as every year.
The evening offers tastings of the best local wines, including the Piave DOCs, and typical products of the territory, from sunset until midnight, in the suggestive setting of the Venetian villa. The precise date and details will be communicated by the Municipality and Città del Vino shortly before the event.

- From 7:30 PM to midnight — tastings of the best local wines, including Piave DOCs
- Tasting stands with typical products from the area
- Setting in the park of Villa Foscarini Cornaro, with music and shooting star observation
