Ch'ESTATE a Fa?! is the summer program promoted by Municipio Roma IV, in the Municipality of Rome, Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, in the Lazio region. The title plays on a cheerful Roman dialect phrase—the classic «che stai a fa'?» (what are you doing?) asked to those staying at home—turning it into an explicit invitation: head out in the evening, reach your local park or square, and enjoy a free show. It is a simple, deeply urban concept that brings culture directly to where people live, in the residential neighborhoods of the capital's northeastern outskirts.

Eighteen events, six locations

The lineup features eighteen events spread across six different locations within the municipal territory, with intentionally diverse genres to appeal to different audiences: singer-songwriter music, tributes to the great Italian and international pop and rock repertoire, plays, and street theatre. Admission is free for all shows, with no booking required.

• Parco della Rambla, in Pietralata: the musical heart of the festival, featuring concerts dedicated to young singer-songwriters and established artists, including Alberto Laurenti.
• Piazza Santa Maria Consolatrice, in Casal Bertone: street theatre alternates with the music of the Pooh.
• Parco della Torraccia: a tribute to The Beatles and an original concert by Alessandro D'Orazi.
• Piazza Camillo Loriedo: an evening of singer-songwriter music and Italian folk with the Trio Monti and the hits of Vasco Rossi.
• CasaIpazia di Alessandria: the home of the theatre section, with shows aimed at drama enthusiasts.

Municipio IV includes neighborhoods such as Pietralata, Casal Bertone, Tiburtino, Ponte Mammolo, San Basilio, Casal de' Pazzi, and Tor Sapienza: a densely populated area, historically distant from the tourist circuits of the historic center, yet rich in urban parks and neighborhood squares. The festival uses them as natural stages, with the declared goal of transforming squares and gardens into true cultural gathering centers.
