About Cerea Festival

The Sagra di Cerea is the summer event that enlivens the town of Bassa Veronese for five days. With food stalls, musical evenings, a funfair, and the famous StraCerea, a running race organised by the Canguri, the festival attracts thousands of people every year. The convivial heart of the event is the 'Cena sotto le Stelle' (Dinner under the Stars) organised by the Alpini, which has become an unmissable part of the early July programme.

Cerea's Summer Festival

In July, Cerea, an important centre in Bassa Veronese in the province of Verona, becomes the stage for its local festival: five days of music, food and wine stalls, entertainment, and tradition that attract visitors from all over the Veneto region. The event, promoted by Pro Loco Cerea together with local associations, combines popular festivities with sporting initiatives.

The StraCerea

Among the most anticipated events is the StraCerea, a non-competitive fun run organised by the "I Canguri" group under the FIASP banner, with routes of varying lengths that traverse the town and surrounding countryside. It's an occasion that brings together athletes, families, and walkers for a morning of outdoor celebration.

Dinner Under the Stars

The most convivial moment is the Cena sotto le Stelle, prepared by the Alpini, set up in the garden of the Baita: an evening of Veneto cuisine flavours, music, and companionship that has become a symbol of the festival. The food stalls, the funfair, and the shows complete a programme designed for all ages, in the spirit of tradition and the Cerea community.

Cerea Festival โ€” edition 2026

The 2026 edition of the Cerea Festival runs from July 5 to 9, with the 26th StraCerea kicking off on Sunday, July 5, and the unmissable Alpini's Dinner Under the Stars among the main events, accompanied by food stalls, music, and a funfair.

Pro Loco Cerea confirms the Cerea Festival from July 5 to 9, 2026, five evenings of celebration in the town centre with food stalls, musical entertainment, and a funfair.
