A Century on the Track

The Dalmine Velodrome is one of the historic track cycling facilities in Lombardy. Inaugurated on August 15, 1926, in 2026 it celebrates its centenary: an important milestone for a venue that has made the sporting history of Dalmine, a municipality in the province of Bergamo, and has seen generations of cyclists race on its track.

The Facility's Rebirth

The event for the hundredth anniversary comes at a special time: the velodrome in via Tofane was indeed reopened in March 2026 after several years of renovation work, once again becoming a reference point for provincial and national cycling. The facility is managed by the sports club A.S.D. Lince, chaired by Stefano Maldifassi, who made the reopening of the track a symbolic goal for the relaunch of cycling activities in the area.

The Commemorative Event

On August 29, 2026, the velodrome will host a major commemorative event dedicated to the facility's century of life. A day of celebration and sport that celebrates Dalmine's long cycling tradition and looks to the future, in continuity with the track activities that have already involved dozens of athletes since its reopening. An event that intertwines historical memory, sporting passion, and the identity of the Bergamo territory.
