Caseus 2025 - Soul and Flavors

The 2025 edition was held on Saturday, August 9, at the Convento Residence in Sant'Angelo a Fasanella, starting at 5:30 PM with free admission. The event was promoted by the Municipal Administration in collaboration with the Pro Loco and the Alburni Outdoor association.

The heart of the day was the live production: ten farmers took turns showing the public the artisanal techniques for preparing caciocavallo, mozzarella, ricotta, manteca, and scamorza. Alongside the demonstrations, there were in-depth sessions by biologist Anna Pagano on production processes and a cooking class by chef Bianca Mucciolo dedicated to pairings and the use of cheese in the kitchen.

There were also workshops for children and an animal pen, designed to help the little ones discover rural life. Seventeen farms from Sant'Angelo a Fasanella, Ottati, Salerno, and neighboring towns offered free tastings of cheeses paired with honey, jams, and organic oil. The evening concluded with a piano concert dedicated to Neapolitan music, performed by Lucia Piatto.
