Where the Prosecco Spring Begins
The Cartizze and Valdobbiadene DOCG Exhibition in Santo Stefano, a hamlet of Valdobbiadene in the province of Treviso, is the event that annually opens the Prosecco Spring season, the circuit of exhibitions celebrating the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG amidst the UNESCO heritage hills.
At the Casa del Pensiero Collinare
The exhibition is held at the Casa del Pensiero Collinare, the "red house" in the center of Santo Stefano, at the Pro Loco building on via Grave Nuove. Here you can taste Cartizze and Valdobbiadene DOCG, savor homemade gnocchi and traditional dishes, participate in themed dinners, workshops, and guided tours, in spaces accessible to people with disabilities.
Among the Cartizze 'Rive'
Organized by Terre di Santo Stefano together with the local Pro Loco, the exhibition also offers wine-tasting walks among the steepest vineyards in the area. Experiencing the opening of the Prosecco Spring in Santo Stefano means entering the productive heart of the UNESCO hills, where Cartizze, the most precious cru of Valdobbiadene, is born.
Cartizze Exhibition Santo Stefano — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Cartizze and Valdobbiadene DOCG Exhibition in Santo Stefano opens the 31st Prosecco Spring and takes place from March 13 to 20 and from March 27 to 29, 2026, with an inauguration on Friday, March 13 at 6:30 PM.
At the Casa del Pensiero Collinare, at via Grave Nuove 2 in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, tastings of Cartizze and Valdobbiadene DOCG are scheduled, along with the typical homemade gnocchi dish, themed dinners, workshops, and guided tours, as well as wine-tasting walks through the local vineyards.
