Running during Carnival
The Carnival Run is one of the running events organized by the Podisti Tagliolesi in Taglio di Po, a municipality in the province of Rovigo in the Po Delta. It takes place during the carnival period and is part of the Il Gabbiano running circuit, in collaboration with UISP of Ferrara.
A Run for Everyone
As per the tradition of the Il Gabbiano circuit, the event offers routes suitable for both competitive runners and walkers, on the roads and embankments of the Taglio di Po territory. More than a highly competitive race, it is an amateur and social gathering, bringing sport and movement to the heart of the Polesine winter.
The Delta Circuit
The Il Gabbiano circuit includes several races in the Po Delta and Ferrara areas, and the Carnival Run of Taglio di Po is one of its stages. An opportunity for running enthusiasts to meet and experience the territory together even in the cold months, while waiting for spring races like the 4 Passi per el Tajo.
Carnival Run — edition 2026
In 2026, the Podisti Tagliolesi once again organized the Carnival Run in Taglio di Po during the carnival period. The event is part of the Il Gabbiano circuit, in collaboration with UISP Ferrara.
The run, open to both competitive runners and walkers, brought running enthusiasts to the roads of the Po Delta in the middle of winter, confirming the vitality of the Taglio di Po running community even in the cold months.
