The 2025 Carnival maccheronate in Ala

The 2025 season of maccheronate in Vallagarina began on Sunday, February 9th, launching nearly two months of festivities spread throughout the valley. In the territory of Ala, on Sunday, February 23rd, the hamlet of Pilcante hosted its maccheronata from 10:00 AM at the sports field, serving pasta with ragù and traditional tripe.

Serravalle di Ala and the center of Ala, with the feast in Piazza Buonacquisto, also confirmed their commitment to the tradition of pasta with ragù, bigoi with sardines, and polenta. As highlighted by the local press, the Carnival of Vallagarina persists precisely thanks to the volunteer work of the hamlet committees, guardians of a centuries-old tradition built on community and the pleasure of dining together.
