The Town's Carnival
The Carbonera Carnival, in the province of Treviso, is the festival that every February enlivens the streets of the town centre with the parade of floats, masked groups, juggling, and entertainment for children. A community event that brings together schools, families, and local associations.
An Educational Celebration
The event is organized by the Parents' Committee together with the Comprehensive Institute of Carbonera, involving students and families who parade together as one large group. More than just a costume party, the Carbonera Carnival is designed as a moment for education and cohesion.
Together for Peace
For 2026, the Committee has chosen to parade with a message of great relevance and value: Peace. Participants are invited to wear their favourite masks and bring colourful handkerchiefs and ribbons to wave joyfully during the procession. It is a simple and heartfelt popular festival that fills the heart of the town in the province of Treviso with cheerfulness.
Carbonera Carnival — edition 2026
On Sunday, February 1st, 2026, the Carbonera Carnival will liven up the streets of the town in the province of Treviso with a parade of floats and masked groups. The municipal administration, the school, and the Parents' Committee invite all students and their families to participate as one large group, under the theme 'Together for Peace'. Confetti bags will be available at the Parents' Committee float to liven up the parade.
