About Open Wineries Bardolino

For the Cantine Aperte Sunday, the historic Guerrieri Rizzardi winery opens its doors in Bardolino, on Lake Garda (Verona). A day dedicated to discovering the territory through wine, with guided tours, a welcome glass, tastings of Chiaretto di Bardolino and Veronese DOC wines, paired with local cured meats and cheeses. It is the national initiative of the Movimento Turismo del Vino (Wine Tourism Movement) which invites you to experience the winery without formality, but with attention to quality.

Wineries Open on Garda Lake

Cantine Aperte is the national initiative of the Movimento Turismo del Vino which, on the last Sunday of May, opens Italian wineries to visitors. In Bardolino, in the province of Verona, the event is hosted by the historic winery Guerrieri Rizzardi, on Strada Campazzi, in the hills of the Veronese Garda.

Tours and Tastings

The event offers a guided tour of the winery with a welcome glass — the Fior di Rosa, Chiaretto di Bardolino Classico DOC Spumante — and a special experience with a tasting of three DOC wines (Soave, Bardolino, Valpolicella) paired with local cured meats and cheeses. The wine shop remains open for purchases with a dedicated discount.

Wine as a Story of the Territory

The philosophy of Cantine Aperte is to discover the territory through wine, without formality but with attention to quality and authenticity. Guerrieri Rizzardi also adheres to the Wine in Moderation program to promote responsible consumption.
