Canterano Truffle Festival

The 12th edition of the Canterano Truffle Festival was held over two consecutive weekends: Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, and Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19, 2025. The food stalls, set up in the historic center and in Piazza Roma, were open on Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The star was the black truffle foraged in the woods of the Aniene Valley, served in tagliolini, bruschetta, eggs, cheeses, and meats, accompanied by a spritz bar, gourmet snacks, and local products. There was no shortage of music and artistic/cultural installations along the village streets. The event, organized by the La Murritana association, donated part of the proceeds to charity and to the restoration of Canterano's historical heritage.
