Edition 2025 — Asparagus Fair

In 2025, the Cantello Asparagus Fair confirmed its formula over two weekends in May, under the marquee in Via Collodi. The local De.Co. asparagus was the star, with risotto, lasagna, and grilled dishes, accompanied by live music, markets, and the traditional asparagus competition.

The 2025 edition offered two weekends of gastronomy dedicated to Cantello's white asparagus, with the usual menu of asparagus risotto, asparagus à la Bismarck, and lasagna. The evenings were enlivened by orchestras, bands, and DJ sets, while Sundays featured the artisan market and the competition awarding the best locally grown asparagus.

The event, organized by Pro Loco Cantello, reaffirmed the asparagus's role as an identity product of the Varese municipality.
