2025 Canederlo Festival

The second edition of the Canederlo Festival was held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in Borgo Valsugana, following the success of the 2024 debut which saw nearly 4,500 canederli served.

The five food stalls, managed by local associations, offered classic meat canederlo in broth (Bersaglieri), cheese with melted butter (Red Cross), goulash sauce (Palio del Brenta Committee), spinach (AIDO), tomato (Bocciofili), and the sweet pistachio version with ice cream. The festival took place across Piazza Degasperi, Piazza Martiri della Resistenza, and the historic courtyards of the village, featuring music by the Borgo Valsugana Civic Band, folk groups, canederlo-making workshops for children, face painting, and exhibitions. About 80 volunteers participated in the organization, confirming the community vocation and the goal of extending the tourist season as emphasized by the municipal administration.
