Edition 2025 — Caciocavallo Impiccato
2025 Edition: The Thirteenth
The 2025 edition of the Caciocavallo Impiccato Festival was held on Friday, August 1st, in San Marco ai Monti, in the Municipality of Sant'Angelo a Cupolo, in the province of Benevento. It was a single evening, with stands opening around 8:00 PM and closing around 11:00 PM.
The menu featured the dishes that made the festival famous: caciocavallo impiccato melted over embers and served on bread, fusilli with sauce tossed with caciocavallo, grilled sausage and pancetta, french fries, and many varieties of desserts, with local Sannio wine. In 2025 as well, the cheese came from farms and dairies in the Sannio territory.
The evening was accompanied by live music. The organization was handled by the Parish of San Marco Evangelista with the Pro Loco San Marco ai Monti, and the proceeds went to the parish community's social and charitable initiatives.
