The street art festival at Parco Raggio in Pontenure
Buskeraggio – Street Art Festival is the event that annually transforms the Parco Raggio in Pontenure, in the heart of the province of Piacenza, into a large open-air stage. Organized and produced by the association Art.Com_Pontenure – APS, founded to promote the socio-cultural and economic development of the area, the festival draws street artists and performers from the national and international scene to the charming historic park.
Parco Raggio, Pontenure's splendid historic garden, provides the natural backdrop for two days dedicated to street theatre, puppet theatre, and itinerant performances. Among the tall trees and park avenues, you'll find shows of small circus acts, clowning, juggling, antipodism, Chinese pole, stilt walking, and acrobatics, in a continuous succession of acts that engage both adults and children.
Buskeraggio is designed as a widespread celebration accessible to everyone. The program includes:
Having grown edition after edition, the festival is now an anticipated event in the summer calendar of the Municipality of Pontenure and the entire Emilia-Romagna region, both in the Apennine and plain areas. The artistic direction for the editions has been curated by the Compagnia Le Cyclofà (Cristina Bisi and Diego Brocani), who have helped give the festival a recognizable identity, capable of combining artistic quality and a family atmosphere. With free admission and the green setting of Parco Raggio, Buskeraggio confirms itself as one of the most beloved street art events in the Piacenza area.
