When ceramics come to the streets

Albisola Superiore (Province of Savona) is one of Italy's ceramic capitals, a land of master potters and kilns that have shaped Ligurian majolica for centuries. Every spring, the town participates in Buongiorno Ceramica!, the national distributed festival promoted by AiCC (Italian Association of Ceramic Cities), which in 2026 will reach its twelfth national edition.

Exhibitions and projects in the historic centre

For Albisola Superiore, the event translates into exhibitions and photographic projects linked to the Albisola ceramic tradition, which enhance the artistic and artisanal heritage of the area. The event opens workshops, studios, and exhibition spaces, inviting the public to discover the work of ceramists up close and the history of an art that is part of the town's identity.

A national network

Buongiorno Ceramica! simultaneously involves dozens of Italian municipalities of the Ceramic Cities, from north to south. Albisola Superiore, along with nearby Albissola Marina, represents the Ligurian heart of this network, within the so-called "Baia della Ceramica" (Ceramics Bay), one of the most important artistic districts in Italy.
